If you’re a fan of the AppleTV show “Ted Lasso” you may remember Ted’s advice to Sam Obisanya. Ted said that a goldfish was the happiest animal in the world, because it had a ten-second memory. He then encouraged Sam to "be a goldfish". That's great advice when you want to move on from something like a poor end of year review. It’s not such good advice for your Manager who’s solely responsible for that review.
